Samsung launched their bespoke refrigerator range, and celebrated by hosting the Samsung Bespoke refrigerator challenge at Design Quarter.
Naqiyah Mayat, Shelley Mokoena Cassandra Twala, and Mary-Anne Gwanyanya went on a unique design journey, creating kitchen/living spaces that reflect Samsung’s vision for customised and connected homes.
Celebrated interior designer, Donald Nxumalo judged the challenge, and shoppers could vote for their favourite space and win.
Shoppers visited the bespoke home showroom at Design Quarter, and voted for their favourite space to stand a chance of winning Samsung and Design Quarter vouchers.
Mother’s Day just wouldn’t have been complete without Live at DQ performances on the piazza. We celebrated with live artists from Friday 06 May, Saturday 07 May, and Sunday 08 May 2022 for Live at DQ Mother’s Day Edition. Shoppers booked at their restaurants and enjoyed live music over lunch.

We loved everyone celebrating long weekends with us in April and May. We were joined on Friday 29 April, Saturday 30 April, Sunday 1 May and Monday 2 May 2022 for Live at DQ in the piazza. Shoppers enjoyed live music over lunch at their favourite Design Quarter restaurants.
